The tree people came today, as planned, and now the dead tree is gone, yay! :D Turns out it WAS rotting from the inside, which is what I was worried about, so extremely glad Mama and I insisted it had to go.

I also got to the bottom of my small mending pile today! :O Now there's only big mending projects to go!!! (At least until I next do washing, I will NOT be surprised if I find more stuff with holes in it. Sigh.) I want to try and get my summer blanket repaired before it's, you know, summer again and I need to use it, so Mama and I are gonna go down to the sewing shop and see if they have any advice. Personally I'm pretty sure I can just sew stuff on top, but given the size of the blanket and the size of our sewing machine I'd have to do a lot of it by hand, so Mama's worries aren't stupid either. Hopefully the sewing shop has a BIG machine you can use - that would be the easiest option. But if not I'm sure they'll at least have a better idea of how feasible repairing it is...

Anyway Mama wants to go in the MORNING, of course, so I am. You know. Up too late as usual siiiigh. Oh well, we'll see how it goes...

I did washing today! Fuck the weather was glorious for it, until it was almost dark and started spitting. At which point I had to go rescue it hahahaha. Still! Washing done, that's my major thing for today orz orz orz. My life, it is so exciting.

Also finally finished off the switch case, yay! And did some mending. And, of course, lots of reading and some minecraft. Yes.

We're getting a dead tree removed on Wednesday, which will entail us having to take down bits of the chook run, and unsurprisingly Mama asked me to help with that. Explicitly in the morning, so of COURSE I'm up this late... ugh, brains, why are you like this. Why. (Do not get the morning obsession. Ugh. Afternoons are fine!!! Nothing wrong with afternoons, bleh.)

Very good floppy day today, yes!

Mostly I just read - finally finished a long fic I've been reading! - but also some minecraft. :3 And cleaned the bathroom but whatever, boring.

Mama's birthday tomorrow! We're going out for lunch, so I expect that'll be most of the day. It's a FANCY restaurant, after all. Close to home, at least, though! :D

Probably? better than yesterday, but still fairly out of it. Lots of napping required! I did manage to clean the chook coop though, even though I needed to lay down afterwards. Chooks do not deserve to live in squalor! But that was definitely all the energy I had for the day, bleh. Other than naps, just been reading, really.

I'mma go back to sleep now yes.

Ugh, today I had to write a cover letter and it sucked. I usually don't bother because I am deeply uncomfortable with the entire process of attempting to sell yourself, but this particular job came via Sibling and required a bit more effort. Ugh. Just. Ugh. SO tiring.

Helped out in the garden by breaking trimmed branches into small pieces so more would fit in the bin, afterwards. That was nice. Didn't need any brain, which was good as I was all out.

What else. Um. Lots of reading this evening, and some minecraft. That's about all. Now I nap!

I did NOT have much in the way of brain at all today. Basically just read, and played some Minecraft in the evening. Which is fine, it's Sunday, if there's ever a day to veg out without worrying about it it'd be Sunday.

Still, I DID manage to get myself to have a shower, since I need to go get meds tomorrow, so I still have SOME brain left! :D Not displeased with this, no.

And now Sushi's making a nuisance of himself, which does tend to mean it's 'go the fuck to sleep o'clock' - not that that stops him, it's just a semi-reliable reminder - so I'mma do that, yes.

ANOTHER gorgeous day, I am both surprised and extremely happy! :D Still got my blister from yesterday, so no weeding, but I sat in the sun and did some crochet and knitting, which was great. :D I got the second jigglypuff foot done, and worked on my sock - I thought I had enough brain to do a second jigglypuff piece but no, I somehow had like 15 stitches when I was supposed to have 9 on like. Round 4. Soooo I pulled that out and stuck to the sock, which is at the very easy 'just keep knitting until it's long enough' stage.

Also did some more of the tiny stitches on the switch case - almost done! I think! If nothing else done with the hardest part (where the fabric turns around making the bottom, pita to get at), so that's nice.

Other than that, something something Minecraft something something bed time now yes. That.
